A matt black wrap, really?
Ignore those verticals lines, it’s light reflecting off of a shop window.

sure it’s a wrap? I think BMW was offering non-metallic (flatte-ish) paints as extremely expensive option

Ditto, or at least they had promised it at one point. Why it was so much more expensive than gloss, I’ll never know.

Might not be a wrap. BMW offers a “protonic frozen black” which is a matte black paint.

I think you are right. I drove an i8 that was that color at a BMW hybrid/electric event.

If that’s an official BMW option, it looks frikkin’ awful.

Matte colours are a nightmare to maintain. That and IMO they don’t even look that good.

Because there’s a demand for that spray paint look.

I’m in the camp that loves matte finishes, regardless of color. So

Nothing special really. Germans are known to take options out and charge you a fee.
In this case they are just not giving you paint and leaving it primer.

Don’t get me wrong, I like matt black wraps... but on the right car. In the flesh, this looked cheap.

It could have been much worse lol
